Say Cheese | Ruby Ginsburg

Logline for Say Cheese

"High school is one thing when you have all your teeth, but for this self-conscious freshman, things aren't that simple."

About Ruby Ginsburg

Ruby Ginsburg is a high school senior at Science Leadership Academy in Philadelphia. As an eager sophomore seeking opportunity, she signed up for her school’s three-year digital video production program and soon fell in love with visual storytelling. Participating in this program is essentially like majoring in digital video production while in high school, and in addition to learning about filmmaking during school, the program has also given Ruby many opportunities to practice these skills outside of the classroom through internships and by filming and photographing various events. Although she isn’t sure what role media creation will play in her future, Ruby is eternally grateful to have stumbled upon this program where she worked on multiple award-winning short films and was part of an incredible community of young filmmakers and artists.
