Nick Westfall is a writer/director based in Los Angeles. Nick’s first writing and directing credit, "Finding Home" (Amazon best-seller, Best Buy, and Barnes and Noble) broke him into the indie industry. Nick's second writer-director credit is a feature film called, “8 Slices,” and it will hit theatres later this year. He also recently directed a documentary series for PBS, “Tonight at Webster Hall.” Nick has written seven commissioned screenplay adaptations for various independent studios and publishing houses. Westfall is a national leader in child advocacy programs, a SAG Signatory Producer, a high school PE teacher, and is represented by Linda Langton at Langtons International Agency.

Natalie is a storyteller and creative content professional. Recent short films that she wrote and directed include Girl Goes Out, Brick by Brick, Eve, On Art On Skin and Up Here. She has also published various short stories and essays. She has a B.A. in English/Creative Writing and an M.F.A in Film Production, both from Ohio University. She works for Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park as content marketing manager, and scribbles down new story ideas on coffee shop napkins in her spare time. Current works-in-progress that have leapt from napkin to laptop include a dark comedy about a workplace millennial sociopath, and a Midwestern gothic about a young woman untangling a murderous family secret. Joseph Dutra is an active film artist and animator being a jack of all trades who has been making his own shorts since the age of 16 while still living in Apache Junction, Arizona. He decided he wanted to make films at the age of 12 when he saw Be Kind Rewind, and has progressively developed his talents behind the screen. Having worked on several shorts over the years, building up his portfolio, he shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. He's won Best Comedy for his short film, “The Locker Room Mascot Massacre”. As well as Best Editing and Best Minnesota Made Film for his short documentary, My Father, for which he took inspiration from Terrence Malick, his favorite director. He graduated from Minneapolis College of Art and Design in May 2019 with a Bachelor’s Degree of Fine Arts in Filmmaking.

Nick Tassoni is an amateur screenwriter living south of Boston, MA. He was recently admitted to the John Wells Writing for Screen and Television Masters program at USC. He makes the move out to LA in August for the two year program. Nick loves all things movies, and streams his screenwriting experience on Twitch.com (NickScripts) after work. His favorite movies include Jurassic Park, The Lord of the Rings, and Dr. Strangelove.

Vaslav J. Rice has been on a more than twenty year odyssey to become a successful screenplay writer. It started out as an impossible dream. Year after year was filled with rejections and bubble bursting experiences. Finally, in the last two years, his non stop and never give up hard work has come to fruition. Born in Miami, Florida, Vaslav lived there for his first twelve years. Then his family moved to the West-Side of Cincinnati for his formative years. A love of movies motivated his interest in script writing. In the early 2000's Vaslav's melodrama feature film script "Kravitzs' Last" was considered by Millbrook Farm Productions (Mimi Rogers' production company). He has written numerous feature film screenplays. Including "The Double Life" (Crime Drama), "Just Jim" (Comedy) and the Cindependent Film Festival nominated "The Deserters" (Western). Vaslav also turned his feature film script "Every Day But Monday" (Romantic Comedy Drama) into a stage play. It currently is being considered for a popular theater in Cincinnati for 2020. He is also currently producing his own feature film project "Scraps" (Over the Top Romantic Comedy). Where he has just filmed a promotional video for (which is in post production). Vaslav's short film "Don't Call It a Relapse" (Comedy; featured for this podcast) has been filmed and is also in post production, His current writing projects include "Fit's the Description" (Crime Comedy Drama) and is about to start "Son of a Bitch" (Comedy). Vaslav also works for the University of Cincinnati and has three grown children Alek, Sean and Sara.

Daniel Mulvaney is from Brownsburg, Indiana and is now a resident of Cincinnati, Ohio working a normal day-job while pursuing filmmaking as a full-time passion. He enrolled into the Zaki Gordon Center for Cinematic Arts in Lynchburg, VA studying directing and writing, and after graduation in 2018, Daniel moved back to Cincinnati to fulfill the dream in the Midwest. IGNORE THE CLOCK is his first short film.

Matthew Muchka was born and raised in a small town in Wisconsin. An early love of movies led to an ever-growing interest in how films were made. After graduating from University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with a degree in Radio/Television and Film Matthew moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in filmmaking.
Matthew has spent the past 10 years working in reality television for various networks and has been a part of several genre-defining programs including Fear Factor, Deal or No Deal and Wipeout.

Not feeling creatively fulfilled by his day job, Matthew began to writing in an effort to jumpstart his career in film. "A New Suit " was his first short script. Matthew is currently working on his first feature script and just finished post-production on his second short film, "Do Unto Others" which won the Shore Scripts Short Script contest in 2018.

I'm 26 years old from Saudi Arabia. Some people looked at me and decided I'm a woman. But all I know is that I'm an alien who fell into this Earth with a message. For now, that message is conveying all of the experiences stored in my mind and memory into a screenplay. I'm a typical Middle Eastern girl, but not really. A typical hopeless romantic, but not really. A typical writer, but not really.

Cheryl L. Allen is a freelance writer from Walton, Kentucky, currently
making her home in the Louisville, Kentucky area. She shares her home
with her husband Chris and more dogs than most reasonable people would
consider sane. She possesses the heart of a poet, the mind of a dreamer,
the philosophical tongue of a sarcastic comic, and the eyes of a lustful
wanderer--(or at least she DID until all those people realized those
things were missing and demanded she give them back!). She infuses her
writing with both thought-provoking warmth and a certain degree of
unique vitality.

Professionally, she has written in a range of formats--poetry,
mainstream fiction, short stories essays, songs, and screenplays. “The
Last Light in Vegas” is her second feature film. She is currently
writing a third with several more projects planned.

Additionally, she and her husband run Theater 8 Productions, a loose
collective of artistic endeavors. Most prolific among them, The 502
Revue was a cable access television show and YouTube channel, showcasing
arts, culture, humanity, and music. These vignettes feature artists in
every genre imaginable from the Louisville, Kentucky area.  In this
capacity, Cheryl holds all aspects of responsibility--from lining up
talent and filming locations, operating camera and sound equipment,
conducting on-camera interviews, voice-over work, producing segments, as
well as post-production and distribution.

Beyond Theater 8/The 502 Revue, she has also held minor roles as a
script supervisor in “Poof”, a video short, and has been an MC for
various local productions.

When not writing, producing, or working on her creative endeavors, you
will most likely find her enjoying friends and family, traveling,
learning something new about the planet, or looking for a lint roller to
remove dog hair from her clothing.

Acting since the age of 12, Joyia moved to write, direct and produce in 2004 with the startup of EB Productions when the creative sphere needed to be expanded with stories involving people of color, women and children and since has built an impressive resume.

The first production, “Soul To Keep”, a one person tour-de-force, opened to rave reviews and played the festival circuit in New York City. She then moved onto film where she completed two silent shorts before tackling a documentary entitled, Equally Created, that dealt with the disparages of African American portrayal in the media versus reality. Black Woman, a satirical short, was her first endeavor where she wrote, directed, and produced. Kitty Bainbridge Is Dead, premiered in London and surrounding cities and garnered a digital distribution thru 21st Films along with Film Fest TV. Her most recent film, Azreal’s Dissent, has been turned into a web series and working on the 2nd episode. Currently, Rex Unplugged is on the first phase of pre-production. She also produces other projects and directs for the stage as well.
