Amy Leigh McCorkle is an author, blogger, screenwriter and filmmaker. With 23 books published, nearly half of them Amazon Bestsellers, with her memoir an International Bestseller, Letters to Daniel, she has parlayed that into a successful independent film festival presence. Since 2014 she and her screenwriting and producing partner, Melissa Goodman have won 61 awards and been nominated 30+ times for their scripts, documentaries, short films and music videos. Amy lives in Shepherdsville, Ky with her orange tabby Luke. When Amy is not creating fictional worlds she is using her Letters to Daniel platform to advocate for herself and others like her who live bipolar disorder.

David Bradburn grew up outside of Chicago in Elgin, Illinois. Here, he shot his first film during high school: a compilation of shorts and mock commercials that he hoped would be funny enough to make it to America's Funniest Home Videos.

They weren't.

Over 25 years later, Bradburn has honed his craft and finds himself wearing the many different hats of the independent movie maker to see a project from script to screen. Serving as lead producer of the Von Steuben High School Film Festival for six years, Bradburn navigated the process of obtaining grants to bring filmmaking opportunities to Chicago high school students.

Whether he's serving as writer, producer or director, Bradburn wants to do more than just make movies: he seeks partnerships with other local filmmakers to put Chicago on the map as the premier independent film making city. Bradburn's directorial approach draws on his 20 years worth of experience as a high school English teacher: his leadership and focus inspire his crew's motivation to realize his creative vision.

Bradburn's films include "Home", "The Night Before The Morning After", "Superhero Me", a finalist in the 2012 Beverly Hills Film Fest Writing Competition, My Brother's Other Mother ¬- a documentary chronicling his younger brother's search for his birth mother in the Dominican Republic, and "The Coming of Age" which was written by Northwestern University's Film Department Chair, Dave Tolchinsky. Bradburn's successful launch into Chicago's independent film community most recently landed him assignments with Kenmore and FOX.

His current projects include: Some Years Earlier, a feature in development, is a coming of age story about the universal tale of overcoming one's past. His films "Rockabye" and "Before You Woke" are currently on the festival circuit.

Dexter is an award-winning American screenwriter who has written thirteen feature film screenplays and thirteen short screenplays, virtually all of which being a personal reflection of his interest in the paranormal and metaphysical. He has written scripts in the genres of: comedy, drama, fantasy, horror, science fiction, and thriller.

Dexter is represented by Mystical Sounds Productions, a management/production company based in Montreal, Canada.

In the fall of 2015, I awoke from a startling dream. It was a very specific dream. A nightmare if you will. But, a good one. I sat down and wrote "The Web." In the vein of "Basic Instinct," "The Web" uses the male image as the victim. The female is the 'Monster.' Just how ghoulish can a human mind be? I wanted to present a very pschologically twisted 'patient' with a touch of the supernatural. Is she really capable, or is he really seeing this? Enjoy.

My name is Alex Workman and I'm on a personal journey to take my writing as far as it can go. I've been writing for the past 6 years with about 12 screenplays under my belt. In addition to writing screenplays I also write comic books(my first love). I've basically worked retail all my life going from job to job. While in community college I had a revelation that this isn't going to help me really get where I need, only writing everyday could do that. Being stuck in Holdenville, Oklahoma for the past undisclosed number of years isn't so bad though. I believe it gives me an interesting perspective on the world that is.

I got married in March and I'm really excited about that! 🙂

I was raised in San Mateo, Calif. during the 60's and 70's. I worked for a large Investment company in San Mateo before moving to San Diego to become a Beach Lifeguard. I met my wife at a Giants / Padres game in San Diego.  Giants won! Hahaha!

I come from a large Irish / Danish family where my father was the center of world. He was a very loving, gentle soul, amazingly funny, energetic and a crafty storyteller. I probably inherited a love of life, reading and storytelling from him.

I enjoy sailing, playing chess, Risk and Scrabble. I love nature and being in the woods, hiking and spend as much time as possible with my wife and two boys.  

Allyson West is an award-winning producer and director based in Cincinnati, Ohio. The latest narrative from Turn West Productions, TEXICAN, has attended 15 film festivals and won Best Drama Short, Best Director, Best Actress, as well as numerous other awards and nominations in 2017. Allyson also creates live performance work in Cincinnati, Ohio. She has a BFA in Acting from the Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music and studied under Barbara Marchant at the William Esper Studio in Manhattan, New York.

Nathaniel Garcia is an artist, screenwriter & filmmaker from Oakland, California.

Al Mertens is an internationally award-winning avant-garde writer/film director/playwright, hailing from Oklahoma City.

Bill Baber is a second career screenwriter while maintaining a successful career as an attorney and an elected City Council Member in La Mesa, California.  His scripts have received laurels in multiple screenplay contests. He has consulted on three produced documentaries. He is an expert on the history of the film "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington."

Scott Crosby (not pictured) was born in St. Louis, MO. His interest in the process of film and television began while volunteering for the St. Louis Film Festival and later for the San Diego Film Festival. He created two original projects while living in southern California. The first, titled “Business and Brews” blended San Diego’s craft beer scene with the popular show “Shark Tank.” The second project was called “On Tap” and sought to explore an up and coming craft brewery in each region of the country. Scott currently splits time in his hometown of St. Louis and San Diego.
